Diego Sotillo has started working at CIAFF as new postdoctoral researched in the Astrophysics and Cosmology group.

Diego studied a MSc in Astrophysics at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Then, he moved to Heidelberg, to the Max-Planck-Institut für Astronomie, where he did his PhD in the Galaxies and Cosmology department, working with the cosmological simulation TNG50 to better understand galaxies like the Milky Way and Andromeda. His supervisor was Annalisa Pillepich, one of the leaders of the IllustrisTNG team.
