Nadir Samos has started working at CIAFF as new visiting professor in the Quantum Technologies group.
Nadir obtained his PhD in 2022 from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), at the Instituto de Física Teórica. He subsequently worked for one year at the Instituto de Nanociencia y Materiales de Aragón, and later served as a postdoctoral researcher at the Instituto Superior Técnico (2022). Since December 2025, Nadir has been a Visiting Professor in the Department of Theoretical Physics at UAM.
His research focuses on many-body quantum systems in and out of equilibrium, with particular emphasis on entanglement, quantum complexity, quantum chaos, random quantum circuits, topological phases of matter, and variational quantum algorithms.
Welcome, Nadir!
